Christine Hamolia, MS, RN, CS
Christine Hamolia is an Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriptive authority who specializes in the treatment of adults with mental health problems. She received her bachelors and Masters degree from Boston College. She has been a nurse for over 30 years and has worked here at the Medical University in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences for over 25 years. She provides initial evaluations, individual and family therapy as well as medication management for patients with mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and mood disorders. In addition, she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder. She utilizes a cognitive behavioral therapy model, as well as motivational techniques and dialectical behavior therapy in her treatment.
