Assistant/Associate Professor of Cardiology: Board certified or board eligible M.D. to fill general/invasive cardiologist positin to provide outpatient E&M Services, inpatient consultations, interpreting nuclear and/or echocardiography studies, supervising stress tests and providing outreach clinic services at MUHA and our East Cooper Cardiology Office. Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine/ Intensivist: This position is to serve in a leadership capacity for a multi-disciplinary team working in several Intensive Care Units in two hospitals. Must be board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. This position will entail serving as an attending physician in the Medical Intensive Care Unit as well as a Critical Care Consultant in the Surgery-Trauma ICU, Neurosurgical ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU and Coronary Care Unit. Participation in unit management, quality improvement, protocol guideline development and implementation is expected. Participation in clinical and translational research in the ICU is expected. There will also be an opportunity to participate in an electronic ICU service.
