The division's research programs, which include a vigorous molecular biology laboratory, have gained national recognition, especially in the areas of ventricular and myocyte function. The Division's weekly conference schedule demonstrates its commitment to postgraduate medical education. A conference is held each day, including an echocardiography conference, a case conference for residents and fellows, and electrocardiographic programs for cardiology fellows and a combined medical/surgical (cardiac catheterization) conference. In addition, there is a weekly Cardiology Grand Rounds Program that features local and national speakers on a range of cardiology topics. Fellowships
