Assistant Professor of Medicine
As a native of North Carolina, Dr. Gaddy graduated from Davidson College in 1967 and completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1971. He completed both Internal Medicine Residency and his Cardiology Fellowship at MUSC. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. After 28 years of general and interventional cardiology in private practice in Winston-Salem, N.C., he rejoined the MUSC Cardiology division in February 2007, to be the Director of the outpatient cardiology program at the new MUSC Specialty Care North Facility. Dr. Gaddy’s interests are in outpatient cardiac patient care including non-invasive nuclear medicine and echocardiographic testing.
