Assistant Professor of Medicine After completing medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, Dr. Gregg completed his residency in internal medicine with additional training in cell biology and cardiovascular genomics at Duke University Medical Center. He then continued his fellowship training in cardiology at the University of California-San Francisco with a subspecialty focus on adult congenital heart disease and non-invasive imaging. Returning to the Medical University of South Carolina to co-direct and found the adult congenital heart disease program in collaboration with pediatric cardiology returns Dr. Gregg to his childhood home of Charleston. In addition to providing in and outpatient consultation and coordinating comprehensive care for patients with adult congenital heart disease, Dr. Gregg has an active general cardiology practice with a particular interest in valvular heart disease.
