Professor of Medicine Co-Director of Adult Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Control Dr. Robert B. Leman graduated from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania in 1969. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1976 and was a member of the AOA Honor Medical Society. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1979. He completed his cardiology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1981. He has been on staff at the Medical University of South Carolina since then. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society, Who’s Who in the South and Southeast, and Who’s Who in Science and Engineering. He is a fellow in the American College of Internal Medicine, American College of Cardiology, Society of Angiography and Intervention, and American Heart Association.
