Welcome

The Center for Health Professional Training and Emergency Response (CHPTER) is focused on maximizing human performance in chaotic environments to save lives.

We have developed a regional training collaborative of disaster medical experts to provide patient care providers advanced, performance-based disaster training.  Whereas most disaster training courses are designed for First Responders, CHPTER training targets First Receivers.  This includes all providers of patient care during a disaster -- including, clinicians, hospital workers, mental health providers, public safety officials, law enforcement and military personnel, community volunteers and local business owners and employees.

CHPTER is the only civilian training center in the nation to utilize actors and high fidelity human simulators to create real, facility-based disasters that test performance in a multi-patient environment to save human lives.  We offer multiple levels of training (including remote and/or on-site), testing and consultative services.

If you or your employees need to increase their disaster knowledge, preparation and/or skills, we can help.  Feel free to contact us.
