Dr. William Brett McGary is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. McGary completed his undergraduate studies at the Transylvania University and earned his MD at the University of Kentucky, College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center 1993. He has worked at MUSC since 1997. He is active with trauma service by serving on the Major Trauma Committee and as ATLS Instructor and Examiner. Dr. McGary's interests include trauma, EMS, Disaster medicine, asthma, and resident education. Dr. McGary is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
