Dr. Yalani Vanzura is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Vanzura earned her M.D. at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her internship, residency, and chief residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Vanzura has been on the faculty at MUSC since 1998. She is a member of the Diversity Committee and the Multidisciplinary Committee. She is also a member of the South Carolina Medical Association and The American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Vanzura’s interest includes providing compassionate and competent medical care to patients, bedside teaching of residents and students, and development of the Emergency Medicine residency program.
