Dr. Amanda Wood is a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Wood earned her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from the  University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA in 1997. She then received her M.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, IL in 2003. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO in 2007.

Dr. Wood's clinical interests include residency education through simulation and the advancement of Emergency Medicine through education and the peer review process.

Dr. Wood is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Also, she is a member of the American College of Emergency Medicine and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine.
