Dr. Hall is an Assistant Professor and the Trauma Liaison in the Department of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine, at the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition to Dr. Hall’s clinical duties, in the future he will collaborate with Division members focusing on defining and developing quality care protocols as it pertains to emergency medicine and improving the efficiency of emergency care. In 2015 Dr. Hall completed his Fellowship with the American Hospital Association focusing on Infection Prevention and CAUTI reduction and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration.
Dr. Hall completed undergraduate training from the University of Wyoming in Zoology, and medical school and his emergency medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati prior to joining Premier Physician Services, a multisite group of over 300 emergency physicians. During his tenure at Premier Physician Services, Dr. Hall served as Assistant Director for Patient Satisfaction and Quality and Associate Director of Risk Management for the entire Premier Physician Services practice and the Emergency Department Medical Director for Mercy Fairfield Hospital, a suburban Cincinnati hospital with an annual volume of 65,000 patients. At Mercy Fairfield Hospital, Dr. Hall developed and implemented Quality Care Improvement initiatives, Patient Care Practice Improvement initiatives and assisted Mercy Health’s transition to EPIC EMR.
Outside of his professional interests, an important aspect of Dr. Hall’s life is his family. His wife, Paige, is an emergency medicine nurse having worked in both adult and pediatric EM, and they are the parents to 3 wonderful boys.
