All residents are required to attend weekly conferences, held Thursday mornings. Conference is protected time while on off-service rotations. Simulation labs are held on a monthly basis and are scheduled during protected conference times.
July is a focused lecture month for the PGY1 didactics topics.
Journal Club is held every other month and is directly following Thursday conference. A group of residents including a PGY1, PGY2, and PGY3 will prepare and present Journal Club in the residency lounge.
Trauma Conference is scheduled every 3rd Thursday of the month at 7:00 AM. This multidisciplinary conference will be led by a PGY2 or PGY3 who are presenting a case they have seen while on their STICU/Trauma month.
