I was born in Missouri & raised  in Ord, Nebraska.

What are your hobbies and interests?

My main hobbies are working out (though I don't get to do that enough), going to the beach (looking for surf), and hanging out with my family.

What is your favorite thing about MUSC?

I love the people of MUSC.  They have been the best part.  The nurses & techs, the other residents...I'm starting to feel like it's not as big of a place as it looks.

What is your favorite thing about Charleston?

I really have enjoyed Charleston.  After coming here from Michigan, the best part HAS to be the weather.  IT's a great historical town with lots of southern charm.  People are very proud to be from here and to live here.  That really says something about a city.

What does your future hold in Emergency Medicine?

I don't think I see myself pursuing any niche of EM right now.  I think I'd like to continue to work somewhere with a great variety fo patients with a wide variety of medical issues.  Private practice?  Maybe, maybe somewhere in the Virgin Islands.
