  • SC ADA Recognized Programs
    SC Diabetes Prevention and Control Program:  The following diabetes education programs in your area are recognized by the American Diabetes Association.  These recognized programs meet the National Standards for excellence in diabetes education.

  • Diabetes Risk Test
    American Diabetes Association:  Could you have diabetes and not know it?  There are 20.8 million children and adults in the US with diabetes -- and nearly 1/3 of them (or 6.2 million people) don't know it!  Take this test to see if you are at risk for having or developing type 2 diabetes.

    REACH 2010 Charleston and Georgetown Diabetes Coalition is a community driven, diverse diabetes coalition working to eliminate health disparities of more than 12,000 African American adults with diagnosed diabetes.

    School Walk for Diabetes (SWFD) is a K-12 educational fund-raising program that teaches students the benefit of healthy living, community service and school spirit while raising money for the American Diabetes Association.
