Nancy Billings is a Physician Assistant who has held the position of Instructor of Medicine in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical University of South Carolina, working in the Pancreatobiliary Service since November 1997. She graduated Cum Laude from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA in 1977. Prior to coming to work in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Ms. Billings held several key positions as a Physician Assistant, in such areas as the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, Sales Representative for Glaxo, South Carolina Department of Mental Retardation at the Coastal Regional Center, and as a faculty member in the early PA Program at MUSC, just to name a few of her more recent jobs. Ms. Billings is a member of the Academy of Physician Assistants; South Academy of Physician Assistants; and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. Ms. Billings’ special interests are pancreatobiliary disorders; ERCP; EUS; and gastrointestinal malignancy, diagnosis, and management.
