Elizabeth Marshall, M.D., MBA
Joined the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in May 2013 as a Research Assistant Professor from the Department of Research at the Veterans Administration. Dr. Marshall received her Bachelors of Science in Natural Resources Science/Animal Veterinary Science from the University of Rhode Island in 1994 followed by her Medical Degree in 2008 from the Xavier University School of Medicine in Oranjestad, Aruba. She also received her Masters of Business Administration from Strayer University in 2011. She is a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force and has years of training and research experience involved with Suicidality and PTSD with Veterans. Her combined education and practical skills, with nutrition, agriculture, toxicology, and analytical chemistry, provide a strong scientific basis for her contributions to the Nutrition Section at MUSC.
