Division faculty members play a very active role in the education of medical students. Two faculty members within the Division serve as course directors for the College of Medicine, and the Internal Medicine Residency Director is a faculty member of the Division as well. Education features an emphasis on evidence-based General Internal Medicine and Geriatric practice and includes GIMG conferences, periodic workshops and seminars. The GIMG faculty is integral to the Medical School curriculum in all years of undergraduate experience, as well as the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
