Sarah Allen, M.D. joined the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics effective July 1st, 2012 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Allen is a graduate of Wofford College where she received her bachelors of science in 2004. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2008. Dr. Allen completed her residency in internal medicine at MUSC, including her residency as Chief Resident of Internal Medicine, from 2008-2012.

Dr. Allen is looking forward to providing primary care services, as part of the patient centered medical home, to all adults. She is interested in health maintenance and prevention, hypertension, diabetes and women’s health; and is particularly interested in resident and medical student education.
