Associate Professor of Medicine

Leonard Lichtenstein, M.D. is an Associate Professor in Medicine.  He completed college at Ursinus College, earning a BS in Chemistry. He completed medical school at Temple Medical School and did residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Lichtenstein completed his Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Dr. Lichtenstein's current certifications and awards are as follows: Professional Service Award American Diabetes Association, Fellow of the American College of Physicians, Fellow of the Philadelphia College of Physicians, Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, Past, Secretary/Treasurer of Carolinas Chapter of American College of Endocrinology, Past President of the South Carolina Affiliate of the American Diabetes Association.
