Dr. Fletcher Penney is an Instructor in the Department of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He received a BS degree in Psychology from Duke University, and then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine in 2001. He completed an internship in Emergency Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Subsequently, he returned to Charleston to complete a residency in Internal Medicine, and remained on faculty at MUSC.
Dr. Penney is a hospitalist within the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. His interests include medical informatics, medical decision-making, and medical education. He is a member of the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians.
