Dr. Teufel is currently working as a pediatric hospitalist at the MUSC Children's Hospital. Dr. Teufel graduated in 2000 from West Virginia University School of Medicine, then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at MUSC. While a medical student at West Virginia University School of Medicine, his research involved several projects in the field of virology and immunology. For the past four years, he has been learning and working as a combined internal medicine and pediatric resident. Dr. Teufel has a strong interest in clinical research, particularly in addressing ways to improve inpatient hospital services for patients and providers.
