Cameron Burch Oswald, PA-C, is an Instructor/Clinician in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases. Mrs. Oswald grew up in Greer, South Carolina. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Biology in 1996. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Health Professions and received a Physician’s Assistant degree in 1998.
Mrs. Oswald sees HIV infected patients in the outpatient clinic in Rutledge Tower and in addition, has an interest in HIV infected women’s health. She also sees patients traveling abroad at MUSC’s Travel Medicine Clinic at East Cooper and Goose Creek locations.
Mrs. Oswald is accredited as an HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) and is a member of the South Carolina Association of Physician Assistants (SCAPA), the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM), the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA and HIVMA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
