Assistant Professor
Dr. Wray is an assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Disease at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr Wray grew up in North Carolina and earned an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Warren Wilson College in Swannannoa, NC, prior to entering medical school at Duke University in 1988. He completed residency in a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency prior to beginning four years of fellowship training in adult and pediatric infectious disease. Dr. Wray joined the faculty of the Department of Medicine in 2001. He also holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics and attends on the pediatric infectious disease consultation service and in the pediatric infectious disease clinics 6-8 weeks per year. Since 2002 Dr. Wray has also provided infectious disease consultative services to the MUSC Interdisciplinary Program in Solid Organ Transplantation, the only active solid organ transplantation program in the state of South Carolina.
