The Infectious Diseases clinician must be an expert in the management of sexually transmitted diseases. To provide this training, we have arranged for the Infectious Diseases Fellows to participate in the STD clinic at theCharleston County Health departmentone morning a month. The clinic evaluates and treats patients with all the STDs a clinician is likely to encounter in practice.
