Titte R. Srinivas, M.D.
Titte (Srini) Srinivas, M.D., joined the Division of Nephrology as of August 2012 as a Professor. Dr. Srinivas will serve as an attending physician in the Division of Nephrology, as well as the Medical Director of Transplant Kidney and Pancreas Transplant Programs.
Dr. Srinivas received his Medical Degree from Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research in India. Dr. Srinivas then went on to complete his residency training from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1991, a fellowship in Nephrology from St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in 1993, and a residency in Internal Medicine from Montefiore Medical Center in 1995. Following graduation, he received his graduate certification from the University of Florida in Clinical Investigation. Dr. Srinivas comes to MUSC from the Cleveland Clinic where he served as a Staff transplant nephrologist at the Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute. Dr. Srinivas has published numerous articles and book chapters on outcomes of kidney transplantation and immunosuppressive regimens in kidney and pancreas transplantation. He is nationally recognized for the Donor Wellness Initiative (Donor Win) an innovative clinical program fostering wellness among living kidney donors that he started at the Cleveland Clinic. His clinical research interests include immunosuppression in kidney transplantation, outcomes research in solid organ transplantation, renal disease in non-renal solid organ transplant recipients and living kidney donor wellness.
