Assistant Professor
Dr. Sarat Kuppachi is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology. Dr. Kuppachi earned his medical degree from the Christian Medical College in Vellore, India in 1998. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in Bronx, NY in 2005. He then completed a Nephrology fellowship at the New York Medical College (Metropolitan Hospital Program) in Manhattan, NY and a fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Kuppachi’s clinical interests include BK nephritis and the recurrence of focal segmental glomerculoscelrosis (FSGS) post transplant. Dr. Kuppachi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.
