Assistant Professor

Roberto Pisoni, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, S.C.  Dr. Pisoni is a graduate of the Universita' di Pavia School of Medicine, Pavia, Italy and trained in Medicine and Nephrology at the Universita' di Firenze, Florence, Italy, Carraway Methodist Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, AL.  He accepted the current position at MUSC in 2010.  Dr. Pisoni has clinical research interests in resistant hypertension and progression of chronic kidney disease.
