Michelle M. Shepard, M.D.

Assistant Professor

Michelle M. Shepard, M.D. joined the MUSC faculty in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology in 2003.  She graduated from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ.  Nephrology fellowship was completed at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  Dr. Shepard specializes in management of chronic kidney disease, anemia of chronic kidney disease and has a special interest in electrolyte and acid base disorders.  Dr. Shepard is board certified in Nephrology and is a member of The American Society of Nephrology and the American Medical Association.
