The Nephrology Fellowship Training Program has positions for two to four trainees each year to fulfill the needs of the Clinical Track (two years) and the Research/Clinical Track (three to four years). The different clinical and basic science research interests of the faculty members in the Division provide new trainees with an excellent and intellectually challenging environment that ultimately makes subspecialty training fun, productive and rewarding. We have seven clinical fellows and two to three research fellows to cover the Division’s multiple clinical activities. The ABIM requires a minimum of 24 months training with at least 12 months involved in direct patient care. Currently, our clinical fellows do a minimum of 15 months of clinical activity with the option to do more during their elective time. Research fellows customarily are involved in one to two |
