Conferences

There are several conferences over the course of the week and attendance is expected. Fellows are expected to prepare lectures for these conferences as part of their training.

 Clinical Conference
This conference meets every Tuesday at noon and focuses on a clinical problem.  The goal of this conference is to analyze and discuss available literature to support clinical decision-making.  Occasionally, a Morbidity and Mortality Conference will be held in its place.  Fellows will be expected to give several of these conferences per year.

 Research Conference
This conference meets every other Wednesday at noon.  Clinical and basic science faculty and fellows present discussions of research projects at this conference to familiarize the Division with proposed or ongoing research.  Fellows are expected to give at least one Research Conference each year to outline their research experience.
