Once we have received your completed application material (which includes items listed above), the application material will be reviewed.  If favorable, we will contact you to arrange a telephone interview.  Thank you for your interest in the Nephrology Fellowship Program at the Medical University of South Carolina. 

The Division of Nephrology has two Nephrology Fellowship Training Programs which include nephrology and transplant nephrology.  

The Nephrology Fellowship Training Program has ten (10) ACGME Clinical Track positions (two years).  We accept U.S. Ctizens, permanent residents, and J-1 visa candidates for the clinical position.  We also accept H-1B applicants who are presently on the H-1B visa.  We also have two (2) reseach track position (2 years of research, 1 year of clinical).   The research track position is available through a T32 Research Grant and can only accept U.S. citizens or permanent residents as candidates.  Applications are accepted through the ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) for both programs.  

The Transplant Nephrology Fellowship Program has two (2) positions (one year in length) that is available each year.  Applications will be accepted for 2015 and interviews will take place starting in mid-July 2015.  Please visit the Transplant Nephrology Fellowship site for further details about the application and interview process.
