The MUSC Sarcoidosis Center is one of the Third largest sarcoidosis clinics in the United States. The physicians and nurses are well skilled and have many years of experience in the management of not only pulmonary (Lung) sarcoidosis but also sarcoidosis of the skin, eye, liver, neurologic system, heart, and all other forms of sarcoidosis.
The international symbol for sarcoidosis is the snowflake, because just as no two snowflakes are the same, no two cases of sarcoidosis are exactly alike. Here at the Medical University of South Carolina's Sarcoidosis Center, each person is treated as an individual, on a case to case basis. We strive to care for our clients at the highest level, using therapies that are effective, that are supported by research, and that help to improve one's quality of life.
