Dee Ford, M.D., MSc, FCCP

Associate Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

Dee Ford, MD, MSc is an associate professor of medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine.  Dr. Ford earned her M.D. and completed her internal medicine training at Johns Hopkins University College of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Hospital.  She completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at MUSC in 2005.  She is Board Certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.  Dr. Ford focuses her clinical and research efforts in different aspects of critical care medicine and she is the Medical Director for MUSC’s Medical Intensive Care Unit.  Her primary areas of interest are improving the quality of care in the ICU setting and improving access to critical care best practices.
