Andrew Goodwin, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

Dr. Goodwin is a pulmonary intensivist committed to a clinical and research career that will improve the outcomes of patients who develop critical illness.  He joined the faculty of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Sleep Medicine in 2011 after completing fellowship training in the Harvard Combined Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship program.  His research background includes basic science training in pulmonary fibrosis as well as a Masters degree in clinical research.  His current clinical interests include critical care with a specific focus on hemodynamic monitoring as well as diffuse parenchymal lung diseases.  Current research projects include outcomes research in sepsis, cost-effectiveness of critical care, and serum and urinary biomarker analysis in sepsis and acute kidney injury.
