Research Opportunities

Looking for a student to write a manuscript and submit it to an oncology journal from a Phase I clinical trial.  I have all the data, and will help the student with the process of pulling out the most important data and with preparing the manuscript.  The student would be the first author on the paper.  The student can do the work on their own schedule, but we would establish a timeframe.  Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested.

Every year, the American Society of Nephrology (ASN) offers a $800 in travel support for the ASN Annual Meeting for qualified residents and third- and fourth-year medical students who are considering a career in nephrology.  This year, the ASN meeting will be held November 1-4, 2012 in San Diego, CA.  Meeting registration for participating residents and students will be provided, as well as complimentary ASN e-Membership.  Two trainees can be nominated from each institution.

If you are interested, you will need to submit an on-line application after I have nominated you.  I will be submitting the nominations no later than Friday July 20th and you will have to complete the application by Friday July 27th.   Please email me if you are interested.

Thanks!
