How to Apply: Postgraduate Year Two & Above

Applicants to postgraduate year two and above positions do not have to participate in the matching program, but must provide the following:

 Completed application with a recent photograph

 Dean's letter

 Official transcript

 Two letters or recommendation provided by faculty familiar with the applicant

 Additional recommendations from physicians also may be submitted, but are not required

 Personal interview

 Step I of the USMLE examination must be passed on the first attempt

 If available, step II USMLE scores should be submitted via ERAS

 DO students must score a minimum of 500 on COMLEX level 1

 Letters of recommendation from the administrator or chief of service from each hospital where the applicant has trained since graduating from medical school

 An applicant who has been in military service should have a recommendation from the commanding officer and professional qualifications
