Outpatient Services & Locations

The Department of Medicine’s clinical enterprise continues to expand rapidly. Outpatient care is provided at Rutledge Tower on the main campus and outreach locations in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, North Charleston, and Goose Creek.  These outreach sites collectively provide internal medicine, medical oncology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology, pulmonary/sleep medicine, travel medicine and cardiology services.  Our specialists also travel to several locations across the state to hold specialized clinics for cardiology and transplant patients. Off-site services provide much needed care without the inconvenience and expense of traveling across town (or across the state) to downtown Charleston.

In addition to the downtown Charleston locations, the Department of Medicine operates four outreach sites serving a variety of specialties:
