The Children's Hospital Fund at MUSC Children's Hospital supports a wide variety of programs and causes. Since its inception, the Children's Hospital Fund has graciously accepted community support for three main areas at the Children's Hospital.

• To support our child life department with toys, games, art supplies and other materials to entertain children, making their hospital visit more pleasant.
  
  
• To support research in the prevention and treatment of childhood diseases, supporting the study of research in a variety of pediatric disciplines, including brain disorders, cancer, sickle cell anemia and heart abnormalities.
  
  
• To support the development of treatment programs within the Department of Pediatrics.
