Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship
The Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM), accredited through the American Board of Pediatrics and ACGME, is a specialized training program designed to provide and refine knowledge and skills regarding the care of acutely ill and injured children. Candidates must complete a three-year residency in General Pediatrics or Emergency Medicine to be eligible. The fellowship program is three years for Pediatrics-trained residents and two years for EM-trained residents. All interested Pediatric or EM residents are welcomed and encouraged to apply. MUSC's Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) fellowship was initiated in 2009 and currently accepts one to two fellows per training year. MUSC participates in the NRMP Match. The deadline for completed applications is August 15th and is conducted through ERAS.
