This four-day course targets those who will be taking the new ABR Core Examination in October 2013. Participants are strongly recommended to have reviewed a textbook such as "Review of Radiologic Physics, 3rd Edition" by W. Huda, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins; (2010). In addition, attendance at an in-house resident Imaging Physics Course, and review of the recently developed the AAPM/RSNA Online Physics Modules (http://www.rsna.org/Education/physics.cfm) are highly recommended. The course is not designed for those with no background in Radiological Physics. | ||

Huda Physics Review Course Friday, July 30th through Sunday, August 1, 2010 Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, SC The Huda Physics Review is designed for residents preparing to take the ABR physics examination. A basic knowledge of Radiological Physics will be assumed, and attendees should have read a standard text on Radiological Physics. The course will focus on medical imaging and radiation dosimetry/safety. The ABR examination will be reviewed, physics teaching hints offered, as well as two Recall Review sessions that will cover questions provided by attendees. Three online practice exams (120 questions each) to be taken at the resident's leisure after completing the review course (TheTestingLab.com) that provide answers, a final score, as well as a percentile relative to other residents taking the exam.
