The Section of Musculoskeletal Radiology is actively involved in a number of research projects.  These include:  Investigating current practices in imaging of pediatric spine trauma and developing alternate algorithms which are more efficacious and cost effective; studying the radiation exposure and the related cancer risk to patients admitted through the Emergency Department for multiple trauma; and, studying the efficacy of 3D isotropic MR sequences for imaging the knee.
