Pediatric Research

The Division of Pediatric Radiology is currently involved in several collaborative research projects including:

1) Management of Intussusception: The Utility of Repeat Delayed Air Enema Reduction Attempts - Presented at SPR in April 2008

2) Pediatric Effective Doses in Body CT - Presented by Dobrinka Dimitrova at RSNA 2008

3) Computing Effective Doses to Pediatric Patients in Chest and Abdominal Radiography - to be presented at SPR in April 2009

4) Alignment of Cricoid Cartilage and Esophagus and its Potential Influence on the Effectiveness of Selick Maneuver in Children

5) Virtual Autopsy of Neonatal and Infant Deaths

6) ACRIN 6660: Whole Body MRI in the Evaluation of Pediatric Malignancies
