Assistant Professor Dr. Angelle Harper is a recently appointed assistant professor within the Abdominal Imaging Section of the Radiology Department. She graduated from LSU Medical School of New Orleans in 2000, where she completed the honors program, doing research in the field of gastrointestinal pharmacology. Dr. Harper did her residency training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans where she served as chief resident. In 2006, she completed a multimodality fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis, Missouri and now primarily splits time between the CT, MRI, and ultrasound services. Currently, she has a special interest in hepatobiliary imaging, and is actively involved in multidisciplinary liver and gastrointestinal tumor boards here at MUSC.
