Mr. Cephus E. Simmons, Sr. is an instructor in the Department of Radiology and is a staff registered radiologist assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.  Mr. Simmons received his R.A. post bachelor certificate from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC.  He completed his clinical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center.  He has worked in the Interventional Radiology Department as the operations manager at MUSC.  He also served as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy.

His primary interests are in adult and pediatric gastrointestinal and genitourological imaging and radiation dose reduction.
