Pal Suranyi, MD, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Radiology

Pal Suranyi, MD, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of radiology, with specific interest in cardiothoracic imaging, particularly in MRI of cardiopulmonary diseases and congenital heart disease.  He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at MUSC and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.  He also holds a Ph.D. in the field of Cardiac MRI from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has performed focused clinical research in cardiac CT here at MUSC.
