Saeid Taheri, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Radiology
Saeid Taheri, PhD received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico in 2004 during which time he developed a special interest in biological systems and in vivo imaging. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship in the BRAIN Center at the University of Mexico with special focus on perfusion imaging and stroke and managed the 4.7T animal imaging lab. In 2007, he became a Research Assistant Professor in the Neurology Department, where he was part of the research team working on stroke, MS and VCI. In 2010, he joined the Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at MUSC as an Assistant Professor.
