The Department of Radiation Oncology at MUSC offers two residency programs. The first and largest is our medical radiation oncology residency program which began in 1976. For over 35 years, our program has trained radiation oncologists for both community and academic careers. The second program is our radiation oncology physics residency which began in 2008 and was accredited in 2011. We currently have six radiation oncology resident positions and two physics positions. The medical residency accepts 1-2 new residents per year and the physics residency accepts 1 new resident per year. Please refer to the appropriate category for additional information.
